Completed in 1924, this 351-foot obelisk marks the birthplace of Lincoln’s adversary, Jefferson Davis, President of the Confederate States of America. Visitors can tour a museum about Davis and ride an elevator to the top of the monument. Open Friday through Monday, 9:00am to 5:00pm through October 31.
